Peter Pan Pre-School & Nursery
Our Rooms
All of our rooms provide the children with a fun learning experience whilst in a safe and secure environment. Each room situated within the nursery offers different areas and activities for the children to explore and take part in.
The Pre-School Classroom
Our Pre-School room is for our 3-4 year olds. It is an inviting and stimulating area where our pre-school children can explore and develop at their own pace.
Our children are encouraged to be independent by giving them the opportunity to select resources of their own choice throughout the session as well as having planned adult led activities.
The Nursery Classroom
Our Nursery room is for our 2 year olds. It is a warm and stimulating room where children learn the importance of routine and boundaries. They can explore and enjoy resources and areas that have been prepared to enhance their learning and development.
The Baby Room
Our baby room is for our 0-2 year olds and is a warm, inviting and cosy environment where the babies feel safe and loved. This room is filled with holistic and sensory area’s where babies can explore, play and develop under the close supervision of the nurturing staff.
We understand that leaving a baby in the care of others can be a very upsetting and stressful time for parent. Our Staff understand this and endeavour to make sure that all parents feel comfortable, happy and safe in the knowledge that we have taken the time to listen to your requests and ensure that we can carry them out during our session.
Outside/Woodland Area
We have two outdoor play area's one for our Pre-School children which is designed to encourage their investigation and problem solving skills with digging area's, mini beast and growing area's and spaces to develop their physical skills with climbing apparatus, ride on toys and other outdoor equipment.
The second is for our babies and toddlers, this has an all weather surface and sensory equipment designed for the younger children. They can sail the sea's on our pirate ship, have tea in the Hansel and Gretel House, have fun in the Hobbit home, listen to stories in our story telling corner or just have fun exploring the sensory tubs.

Forest School
We also have a woodland area next to the setting where our children can take part in Forest School activities which are run on a regular basis by our own Forest School Leader.
