Pricing Policy

It is our intention is to provide affordable childcare. As a charity our income comes from fees and funding or through donations, grants and fundraisers. We use our income towards the education and development of the children and therefore we must apply charges appropriately to ensure the best provisions are in place. In support of our military families, we offer a 10% military discount. This does not apply for funded places.
 

Registration

Registrations will incur a non-refundable charge of £45.00 which covers administration costs and to hold the space, this also covers all settling in sessions. Payment should be made via BACS:

Fees

Room fees are reviewed each term and can be found at the bottom of our policy document. All rooms are priced according to our hourly rate. These rates are inclusive of nappies, wipes and all snacks also for Nursery room and Pre -School room we offer free Forest school sessions lead by our own qualified Forest school leaders.

We offer a 15% staff discount and 10% military discount on session prices
 

Wrap Around Childcare

We are also able to provide School Wraparound care for 4 to 10-year-olds, including those who are eligible for the MoD Wraparound Childcare scheme. Our rates include meals and consumables for before and after school sessions. More information is available on MoD Wraparound childcare (WAC).
 

Funded Places

We offer 15 and 30 hours free 1 childcare for 38 weeks of the year. We support the Free childcare for children 9 months to 4 years. We allocate 9 month to 2-year-old 15-hours over 3 sessions Monday to Friday either 07.30-1230 or 1230-1730 and for our 3-4 year olds Monday to Friday 09.00-12:00 (15 hours) and 09:00-15:00 (30 hours). Adjustments can be applied on a case-by-case basis, including stretched options. We apply voluntary charges to funded places as follows:

• Forest School. We include Forest School as part of our offer to enhance children’s education which we offer as a free extra curriculum activity. Our sessions are planned with maximum attendance to ensure it is available to all children within the Nursery and Pre-School rooms.​

• choose which meals you want:- Breakfast £1.00 Lunch £2.50 and Tea:- £1.50 or bring their lunches provided for the cost of £5.00 per day or individually priced so that you can  Meals. All children taking up a funded/ non funded place have the option to have own from home. If lunches are not provided on drop off the lunch charge will be applied to the next invoice.

Additional Hours above funded entitlement

Any additional hours attended outside of the funded entitlement, will be charged at our sessional rate or hourly rate if going across part of a session. These will be detailed on your invoice.

Late fees

We understand that sometimes you might be running late, however delays in collection have an impact on our staff, staffing costs and our ability to manage childcare ratios. We therefore reserve the right to apply late charges to manage the impact of late collection.

Free childcare is not free to the provider. Funded places are supported by voluntary charges for consumables and subscriptions.

The setting is a not-for-profit charity and cannot afford to absorb the cost of late payments or unpaid invoices as this affects staff wages, resources and consumables costs. As such a late payment charge will be applied for any invoice paid after the 10th of each month. Late payment Added to accounts from 11th day of the month £25.00.

 

Debts

If you are struggling to pay your invoice or wish to discuss variations in voluntary charges, please get in touch with the manager to discuss payment options or changing your contract. Military families who are repeat debtors (more than one month) will be reported to their respective Chain of Command. If any debtor fails to pay their invoice by the next invoice period, the child(ren) will be removed from the register.
